Activities include ground-based and aerial-based challenge course style obstacles that are based at the OEC, as well as portable programming that can be brought to your classroom. Programs are designed to enhance communication, positivity, critical thinking and leadership skills, and are highly customizable.
Experience our zip-line canopy tour and learn about the complex ecosystems all around us, or schedule a Science Behind the Sport program to study the physics of zipping from tree to tree.
Heated open floor-plan yurts can sleep up to 12 people in our provided bunks. Foot trails connect the various activity areas and wooded buffer areas separate the elements from the bunkhouses. Perfect for groups looking for an extended experience, with our newly constructed restroom/shower house facility.
Although programming is conducted rain or shine, our indoor “Yurt” classrooms provide a dry alternate place to learn. The Yurt can be heated in the spring and fall to take the edge off of the mountain air. The Yurt and Deck provide a perfect place to eat lunch, or process the day’s experience.
